If you are thinking of buying an air conditioner, the first thing you will find in any air conditioning service is the presence of a device called an air conditioner.

Is it the same as an air conditioner? Although we are talking about very similar devices, there is a key difference.

If you want to know it, read on:

What is the difference between climate control and air conditioning?

The purpose of both devices is the same: to cool the air and achieve a certain comfort temperature.

Air conditioners work in a different way. To cool the air, they work by cooling the air through water. In this way, they considerably reduce the temperature, while at the same time producing cool, moist air. In other words, they absorb the warm air, pass it through a humid filter and turn it into fresh air which is then blown back into the room (via a fan).
However, an air conditioner minimises the humidity present in the room by producing cool, dry air. They can achieve a specific temperature based on the user's needs.

Which is better: an air conditioner or an air conditioner?

Let's take a quick look at a quick comparison of air conditioning vs climate control:

Air conditioning consumes less energy, which is key to saving on electricity bills. They do not use refrigerant gases and achieve a very interesting relative temperature.

But once they reach the maximum humidity level, they cannot cool any more (there is even the risk of the heat being higher inside than outside if we exceed certain limits).
In addition, it requires that we are renewing the air.

Air conditioners have a higher consumption, but allow the temperature to be regulated. They are more complex to install, although they require less maintenance than air conditioners.
If you have doubts about which of the two options is for you, at Tecnoclima Marbella we can give you the advice you need.

Now that you know the difference between air conditioning and climate control, you have what you need to make your decision.
